CITY OF HUNTERS CREEK VILLAGE, TEXAS

MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING

SEPTEMBER 23, 2005 

The City Council of the City of Hunters Creek Village, Texas convened in special session at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2005, at City Hall, #1 Hunters Creek Place, Hunters Creek Village, Texas. 

Present:         Mayor                         Steve Reichek

                        Council Members:   George Shannon, Mayor Pro Tem

Michael Cokinos

Peggy Burck

                                                            Art Casper

                                                            Roger Stark

                        City Secretary:          Deborah Loesch                                                                       

With a quorum of the Council Members present, Mayor Reichek called the session to order at 9:00 a.m. 

PUBLIC HEARING 

A public hearing was held to receive public comments concerning the proposed property tax rate that will result in an increase of the total tax revenues from property values on the tax roll for tax year 2005.  Mayor Reichek opened the public hearing for comments, hearing none, the public hearing was closed. 

Mayor Reichek announced that a second public hearing would be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall and that the Council will meet on October 10, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall to vote on the tax rate. 

ADJOURN OPEN MEETING

A motion was made by Councilmember Casper with a second by Councilmember Stark to adjourn the meeting.  The motion carried unanimously.  The meeting was adjourned at 9:05 a.m.
